The IGCSE syllabus was developed in 1988 by Cambridge International Examination (CIE). It is an English language curriculum with more than 160 countries embracing the curriculum. It is taught in over 10,000 schools across the globe and the number is steadily increasing. At the IGCSE schools in Chennai a wide range of subjects are offered to students with different abilities, even for those whose first language is not English.
